• Account information — your name, email address, and password (stored hashed).
• Listing details (hosts) — photos, address, descriptions, and pricing for the spaces you offer.
• Booking information (renters) — dates, items being stored, and messages exchanged with hosts.
• Payment information — handled by our payments provider (Stripe). We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
• Usage data — basic logs (IP address, browser, pages viewed) to keep the site working and detect abuse.

How we use your data

We use your information to:

• Run the service — show listings, process bookings, send transactional emails.
• Communicate with you about your account, bookings, or platform changes.
• Prevent fraud and enforce our terms of service.
• Improve the product based on aggregated usage trends.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Cookies

We use a small number of essential cookies to keep you logged in and remember your preferences. We do not currently use third-party advertising or behavioral-tracking cookies.
