AirSelfStorage is a peer-to-peer marketplace where homeowners with extra space rent it out to neighbors who need storage. Think of it as the storage equivalent of short-term rentals.

Why we built it

Traditional self-storage is expensive ($150–300/month for a typical unit) and often nowhere near where you actually live. Meanwhile, plenty of homes have unused garage corners, basement space, or spare rooms sitting empty.

What's next

• Mobile apps (iOS + Android) later this year
• Automated payouts for hosts via Stripe Connect
• Insurance program covering both hosts and renters
